本研究探討色彩組合於薄膜液晶螢幕上對視銳度與顯示品質之影響。研究探討因素為亮度對比值、螢幕亮度組合與背景色彩等三各因子。結果顯示,亮度對比值為唯一對於視銳度有顯著影響的因子,視銳度隨著亮度對比值增加而改善。螢幕亮度組合與背景色彩對於視銳度並無顯著影響。相反地,亮度對比值對於顯示品質的影響並未達到統計上的顯著水準。螢幕亮度組合與背景色彩對於顯示品質影響顯著,較高的螢幕亮度組合與冷色系的背景色彩,受測者的主觀評分較高。雖然亮度對比值與螢幕亮度組合的交互作用並未達到統計上的顯著水準,但是當亮度對比值增加時,受測者於低螢幕亮度組合的視銳度改善略優於高螢幕亮度組合。簡言之,亮度對比值與螢幕亮度組合之間可能具有交互作用。因此,值得進一步深入探討亮度對比值與螢幕亮度組合之間的交互作用對於TFT-LCD視銳度的影響。

英文摘要

The effects of color combination on the visual acuity and display quality using TFT-LCD have been studied. Factors such as contrast ratio, screen luminance combination and back-ground color were investigated. Results showed that contrast ratio was the only factor that significantly affected the visual acuity. Visual acuity was improved upon increasing the contrast ratio. Screen luminance combination and background color did not significantly affect the visual acuity. Contrarily, contrast ratio was not significantly affected subjective rating score. Screen luminance combination and background color did have a significant effect on subjective rating. High screen luminance combinations was significantly greater than that for the low screen luminance combinations and subjects may favor cool colors than warm colors as for background color. Although the interaction effects between contrast ratio and screen luminance combination did not reach a statistically significant level, the visual acuity under low screen luminance combination improved slightly when compared to the high screen luminance combination upon increasing the contrast ratio. In short, there might be some interaction effects between contrast ratio and screen luminance combination. Further investigation is required in the interaction effects between contrast ratio and screen luminance combinations on visual acuity and display quality with TFT-LCD.
