延遲為供應鏈上實施已久的一個策略,目的在於降低需求的不確定及提升產品的客製化,其為延後供應鏈上的作業直到顧客客製化的訂單確定之後再進行,而不是按照傳統預期的作業去執行。一般在探討延遲的數學模式中,學者大多著重於探討製造延遲的部份,本研究主要針對於供應鏈上延遲作業組合(製造、包裝及物流延遲)的施行建立供應鏈網路,並建立相對應的數學模式,並以筆記型電腦的作業環境為探討的實證。期許企業在本身供應鏈能力所及的情況下,選擇最適當延遲策略的組合,在供應鏈總體成本最小化的評估之下,提供企業生產決策的一個參考。

英文摘要

In modeling postponement, most researchers focus on the manufacturing postponement; whereas this study extends it to the postponement of supply chain operations, namely, manufacturing, packaging, and logistics. We use a notebook computer supply chain as an example to model the optimal combinations among these operations' postponement. The results of this study can serve as a management tool to help determine the optimal supply chain operations for taking various postponements into consideration.
