An agreement was signed in Harogate in September 2006 to organize the World Alliance for Quality (WAQ). ANQ, ASQ, EOQ, IAQ and JUSE are the founding members of WAQ. The 1(superscript st) meeting of the WAQ was held in Tokyo in September 15, 2005. There is a strong willingness to continue the cooperation leading to projects and action plan. It was agree to have for each organization a representative who could speed up the relations between them. The 2(superscript nd) meeting of the WAQ was held in Antwerp in May 28, 2006. The official announcement will be done in September 25, 2006, Singapore before the ANQ Congress. (To be continued in part B)
