This article is a report from individual opinions and viewpoints of attendants of Quality Forum on Dec.14, 2006. The theme was: SONY notebook battery recall program which was prepared by Mr. Hanching Chung, a member of R&D commission of Chinese Society for Quality (CSQ). A discussion time was held after the lecture. Based on the report of Mr. Hanching Chung's, all attendants had made totally communication, and had showed great interests on SONY's announcement about the details of its global voluntary replacement program for lithium ion notebook batteries after the fire accident owing to overheating. The host of the meeting was Dr. Fong-san, Wang, who hoped such kind of forum would have a good impact on our industries and hoped it would not be the ending and will be held frequently in order to arouse industries to explore more issues in order to upward Taiwan's competition power through products' quality control in the future by SQC.
