Generally, the conflict contradictory matrix of TRIZ is a popular method in solving technical problems. However, the method can also be applied directly to solve non-technical problems for patient safety. The three innovative principles for patient safety, PDCA, including failure modes and effects analysis (FMEA) and crew resources management, can be obtained by using TRIZ tool, and their ways are described in detail in the article.
