由於管理科學典範的轉變,帶動企業組織之變革。學校在企業改革趨勢以及俊現代思潮推動之下,廿世紀晚期也全面展開組織管理的變革。學校組织革新是以學生學習為主體,以改善教育品質為目的的一種改革行動,包括信念價值的重塑、權力結構的重組、以及作業流程的重建。學校組織革新遍及理念、技術、心理與物質等層面,實際上乃是一種學校文化的再造。在改革過程中,校長應轉變其角色成為改革催化者或促進者,運用變革領導技巧以重新塑造學校文化,推動學校組織的革新。

英文摘要

The conception of organizational management has changed after the paradigm shift in management science. Following the trend, driven by postmodernist thinking, toward the reconstruction of business organizations, schools were undergoing an extensive transformation in their organizational management in the late 20(subscript th) century. The organizational innovation of schools began to be seen as a means of improving educational quality. The main dimensions of school innovation are now taken to be the reshaping of the beliefs and values, the reorganizing of the authority structure, and the reconstructing of various school processes. Basically, the innovation in school organization is also a restructuring of school culture on the conceptual, technical, psychological and material levels. Principals should act as facilitators to reshape school culture; they may use their innovative leadership skills to further promote innovation in the schools.
