本文旨在探討當前澳洲多元文化下語言教育政策,包括《2005-2008年澳洲學校語言教育國家計畫》、《國家方案》、《多元文化語言教育與學習實踐計畫》澳洲多元文化語言教育政策的特色有:一、政策的起源乃是全民反省;二、政策的制定過程與實施是多元的;三、多元文化語言政策環環相扣。最後提出三點對臺灣多元文化語言教育省思,供臺灣制定語言教育政策之參考:一、尊重臺灣各族語言且加強語言教育之研究;二、族群語言與全球語言是未來語言教育發展方向;三、創造臺灣多元文化語言的經濟性。 |
英文摘要 |
This article first looks at the Australia's current multicultural language education policies: the ”National Plan for Language Education in Australian Schools 2005-2008,” ”National Projects,” and ”Intercultural Language Teaching and Learning in Practice.” These three polices share the following characteristics: (a) the scope of the policy includes all the people; (b) the policy development and implementation process is multifaceted; (c) the policy's objectives are consistent. Then the article presents three recommendations for Taiwan's own multicultural language educational policies. Any viable policy must (1) respect the languages of all Taiwanese ethnic groups and strengthen research in language education; (2) assume that both ethnic and global languages are crucial to the development of language education in the future; (3) help to promote the economic value of multicultural languages in Taiwan. |
