本文探討「夫妻相對收入」對已婚女性家庭滿意度的影響。具體提問為：在臺灣的雙薪家庭中，已婚女性是否會因工作收入相對於配偶的收入提高，而影響到她對家庭生活的滿意度？本文採用「家庭動態調查」多年期的追蹤資料，以年齡介於25-59歲的已婚女性為對象，探討已婚女性相對收入對家庭滿意度的影響。分析結果顯示，隨著已婚女性相對收入的提高，其家庭滿意度呈現先提升而後降低的倒U形影響效果，且家庭滿意度在已婚女性與配偶收入接近時達到最高。此外，前述倒U形影響僅存在於非傳統性別角色態度樣本；在傳統性別角色態度樣本中，已婚女性相對收入未見顯著影響。對於不同出生世代的分析則發現，對1970年之前出生的女性來說，已婚女性相對收入對家庭滿意度並無顯著影響。以上倒U形關係僅出現在1970年以後出生的世代身上，顯示已婚女性相對收入對家庭滿意度的影響已悄然改變。
英文摘要

This paper focuses on the association between the married women's relative income and family satisfaction for married women in Taiwan. Using panel data collected from the Taiwan Panel Study of Family Dynamics survey, this study analyzes the effects of the married women's relative income on family satisfaction among women aged 25 to 59. The findings indicate that the married women's relative income exhibits an inverted U-shaped effect on her family satisfaction. When the married women's income is near her husband's, the married women's family satisfaction reaches the highest level. Further analysis reveals that the inverted U-shaped effect only exists in the younger cohort or subgroup with non-traditional gender-role attitudes. This paper contributes not only to the development of relevant research but also to our understanding of the effects of changes in the married women's relative income on her family satisfaction.
