本文試圖透過對於已婚婦女日常生活的基本維生空間消費的現象探究,點出婦女不但是社會建構下的生產與再生產者,同時她們的空間消費活動亦複製了性別化的家務分工任務。本文所欲宣告的乃為已婚婦女的日常生活,不僅受家務與子女撫育任務的拘束,和都市公共運輸工具與路網的行動力限制之外,她們同時還兼具代理消費者的作用。然而以往的都市研究卻經常忽視性別與空間(設施)的議題。換言之,作者企圖從都市的消費空間著手,藉由對居住在台北市不同層級的已婚婦女之深入訪談調查分析,反應在對消費設施的選擇及其原因等經驗研究的結果上,以作為接榫都市消費空間結構與性別研究的初步理論建構,有別於大量的統計數據或從生產面向來談婦女與家庭的研究。 |
英文摘要 |
This paper tries to argue that married women are not only producers and reproducers of social context, their consumptive activities are an integral part of the process of genderized labor division. The research method here is different from other related studies. For examples, some studies of urban consumptive space are ”gender blind”, or they only approach from the production perspective when examining the women's reproduction status. By this empirical study, we want to point out that MW's consumptive activities are not only limited by family chores, children raising, and mass transportation, but they are also agent consumers. Besides, this paper intends to articulate the study of urban consumption and gender study in theorizing the structure of urban consumptive space. |
