銀柳89-73營養系為花蓮區農業改良場自中國上海種花苞變異之營養系選拔獲得,經過營養系繁殖及選拔試驗、營養系觀察試驗、營養系比較試驗及地方試作於2003年所選出花苞外觀大粒、豐腴,芽鱗色澤鮮紅之營養系。於2003年12月24日經命名審查委員評審通過准予命名為「蘭陽一號」,本品種由2至4個小花序組成一粒花苞,平均花苞寬度為1.15公分是中國上海種的1.8倍,芽鱗色澤鮮紅,平均a/b值為2.03。自枝條頂端向下1公尺長度之採收處理後剩餘花苞數及經瓶插六週後花苞脫落百分率之試驗結果顯示,蘭陽一號與中國上海種差異不顯著。

英文摘要

The Cat-tail willow clone 89-73 was selected from bud-mutative clones of Chinese Shanghai variety in 2003 by Hualien District Agricultural Research and Extension Station after clones propagation and selection trials, clones observation trial, clones comparison trials and local field trial. The clone 89-73 was registered in December 24, 2003 as a new variety 'Lanyang #1'. The Lanyang #1 a bud-mutative branch of Chinese Shanghai variety, has big flower-buds and red bud-scales. Flower buds are composed of 2-4 inflorescences. The average of flower buds width is 1.15 cm, about 1.8 times wider than Chinese Shanghai variety. The bud–scales color was red, and the average a/b value was 2.03. Less total flower buds were recorded in 'Lanyang #1', as counted from the top one meter branch. However, there was no significant difference in flower bud number after harvest. There was no significant difference in number of flower buds fallen between 'Lanyang #1' and 'Chinese Shanghai' after cut shoot in vase for 6 weeks.
