根據病理組織分類，生殖細胞腫瘤可細分為精原性及非精原性細胞瘤，多發生於性腺體中，但少部份可發生於性腺外，包括腦松果體，縱隔腔，後腹腔，或薦尾區之中線位置，而卵黃囊瘤屬於非精原性細胞瘤，源自於外胚胎腔，好發於小孩及青年人，本院近來發現一例位於後腹腔的卵黃囊瘤，極為少見，故提供大家參考。

Endodermal sinus tumor (yolk sac tumor) is a highly malignant germ cell neoplasm which usually arises in the gonads. It is rare in the extragonadal regions including pineal, mediastinum, retroperitoneum, and sacrococcygeus. It affects mainly children and young adults. We report a case of primary retroperitoneal yolk sac tumor on angiographic study, CT imaging and histologic finding. The diagnosis can be made more precisely with evidence of elevated serum alpha fetoprotein as well as its characteristic images.
