本篇報告一位五十七歲男性病患，其病情主訴為右眼凸出、右上眼瞼處疼痛以及複視現象已有兩個月。電腦斷層攝影可見其右眼窩內之外側上方有一腫瘤，經手術切除後，病理報告乃鱗狀細胞癌極為罕見，故提出報告。

A case of primary epidermoid carcinoma in the orbit is presented. A 57-year-old man was admitted due to diplopia and tenderness ove upper temporal portion of right orbit for three months. The right eye was displaced downward and anteriorly, some limitation of lateral gaze and choroidal folding over upper temporal fundus were noted. Fluorescein angiography, thyroid function test and sonogram of right orbit had no contributory finding. But CT scan showed a solid tumor over upper and outer quadrant of the right orbit. Surgical exploration revealed a well encapsulated mass, 2.Scmxl.Scmxl.Ocm in size, over the site of lacrimal gland without bony or scleral adhesion. The tumor was dissected out in toto. The pathological report is squamous cell carcinoma. Gallium-67 tumor scan showed no abnormal finding except the right orbit. The patient received radiotherapy with a total dose of 6000 ra4s post-operatively. There was no recurrence by CT scan which was took 4 months after the operation. The patient's condition is rather good and follow-up in our clinic regularly.
