本實驗對13名，26眼原發性隅角閉鎖性青光眼患者各選擇性的一眼以Abraham接觸鏡，另一眼以Wise接觸鏡進行氬氣雷射虹膜穿孔術。發現欲達到相同的雷射虹膜穿孔效果，Wise接觸鏡所需之能量在統計學上低於Abraham接觸鏡，(p=0.006)。本報告並比較兩種接觸鏡使用後造成眼壓上昇及術後併發症的情形。

Argon laser iridotomy was performed in 13 patients, 26 eyes with primary angle closure glauma. Abraham contact lens was used in the randomly selected eye and Wise contact lens in the other eye of the same patient during laser procedure. Less total energy for iridotomy was required in Wise lens treated eyes. (Paired-T test: P＜0.001). Furthermore, there was more post laser TOP elevation in Abraham lens treated eyes. The Wise contact lens is more difficult in use due to shallow depth of field, easy decentration, therefore, using Wise contact lens patient's cooperation is mandatory for successful laser iridotomy.
