如何早期偵測幼兒引起弱視之原因,如屈折異常、斜視、白內障等,而早期加以矯正,一直是一大課題。尤其對學齡前甚至學語前之小孩,常因無法合作檢查,而喪失及早治療之先機。Photorefraction是近年來針對篩選幼兒視力問題之發展方向。PR-1000是一種off-axis photorefractor,可迅速、確實地測出幼兒屈光異常。50名學齡前之小孩,在以睫狀肌麻痹劑點眼後,同時接受PR-1000及傳統檢影法之測試,比較兩者屈光度之差異,有85隻眼睛其差異在1D之內;而兩者散光度之差異,有84隻眼睛其差異在1D之內。故此儀提供我們一個快速且精確地篩檢幼兒弱視病因之方法。

英文摘要

The commonest preschool vision problems at the present time are strabismus and amblyopia. Several photographic techniques have been developed for screening of these conditions, especially in preverbal children. PR-1000 is an off-axis photorefractor. 50 preschool children underwent phtorefraction by PR-1000 after cycloplegia. Skiascopy was performed, too. 90% had analyzable photorefractions. The sherical equivalent differences of PR-1000 & skiascopy were 94.5% within 1D. The differences of astigmatism were 93.4% within 1D. There are good correlations between PR-1000 and skiascopy in our study. PR-1000 provides a good device for screening small children of refractive errors.
