本實驗收集八隻紐西蘭白兔,切除含顱面骨縫(viscerocranial suture)的右下眼窩骨,用PTFE填補其中四隻白兔的骨骼缺損處,六個月後將其犧牲做顱顏骨測量及X光顱骨計量。四隻無PTFE的白兔其內眼窩橫徑、垂直徑、眼窩深度,右側均比左側少,且中矢狀縫(眼窩骨至終臼齒尖端)偏斜2~5度,有明顯的顏面畸形。四隻有PTFE的白兔有一隻併發纖維組織沿PTFE斷裂處向內增生,使中矢狀縫偏斜1.5度。其餘三隻白兔沒有偏斜。說明顱面骨縫對顱骨及眼窩骨的重要。因此PTFE可作為骨骼斷端誘發生長的中介物質,但需加強其韌性及硬度,才能成為理想的骨骼缺損填充物。 |
英文摘要 |
Eight growing New Zealand albino rabbits, each right orbital bone fragment which contained a viscerocranial suture was removed, and PTFE (expanded polytetrafluorethylene) was applied as a substitute for the orbital bone defect in four rabbits, six months later, each skull was macerated for cephalometry and radiological craniometry and histological examination. The cephalometry revealed the horizontal, vertical internal orbital measurement at the rim and orbital depth of four rabbits without PTFE being less on the right side. The midsagittal suture (between the orbit to the cup of last molar tooth) inclined 2 to 5 degrees, which showed evidence of facial asymmetry. One of the four rabbits with PTFE showed fibrous ingrowth interventing the gap of PTFE and the midsagital suture inclined 1.5 degrees. But the others showed facial symmetry. This proved that the viscerocranial suture is very important for the growth of skull and orbit. PTFE can use as a medium of osteoinduction, but it need to enhance structual rigidity, then PTFE will be an excellent bone graft. |
