There are two elements which influenced the formation of pre-Qin philosophy. These two elements I mean the one is the social changing of population, and the other the transformation of teaching system. The result of the first one is the rising of intellecturals, and of the later popularizing the private teaching. As result it came into being the so-called pre-Qin Philosophy. In this paper I try to examine the history of this development under consideration about the five stages: liberation for rising, debates, to understand each other, reorganizing oneself's theory, and the canonization.
