本研究旨在探討實習英語老師將K.K.音標運用在兒童英語發音教學時,所發生的問題與可能的解決方案。本研究有兩個焦點,一是探討K.K.音標教學時的問題,另一則是發掘可行的解決方案。本研究乃質化的協同性行動研究,參與者為和春技術學院應用英文系擔任實習教師的六位學生,研究設計包含一階段的理論建構行動研究研討會,及三循環的行動研究實做與討論。資料蒐集來自於參與者的行動研究報告,資料分析以Miles and Huberman's (1994) Qualitative Data Analysis為依據。研究結果顯示實習老師在進行K.K.音標教學時,所遭遇到的問題可分為教學技巧、課堂管理及有關語音學方面等三大類。本研究結果發現可以增加實習老師在進行K.K.音標教學時的覺識,同時對於其問題也提供了可行的解決方案,作為其他老師的參考。 |
英文摘要 |
The purpose of this study is to explore the ways of teaching pronunciation through K.K. phonetic symbols for novice teachers. It has two foci. One is to investigate the problems that may arise when novice teachers teach K.K. phonetic symbols to children. The other is to explore the possible solutions for the problems encountered. This study employed a qualitative approach in which it primarily relied on the use of collaborative action research. Six student teachers from the Department of Applied English Language of the Fortune Institute of Technology participated in the study. The study incorporated a theory-building period in the form of action research workshops to build a working knowledge of action research among the participants. These workshops were followed by three action research cycles. Data were collected through action research reports and were analyzed based on Miles and Huberman's (1994) Qualitative Data Analysis. The results revealed three types of problems that novice teachers of English would encounter while teaching pronunciation through K.K. phonetic symbols. They are problems related to teaching skills, classroom management and phonetic study. The findings could increase novice teachers' awareness of the problems that may arise and provide the possible solutions that they could use. |
