高雄市長青學苑被譽為台灣地區第一個有計畫、有組織的高齡教育機構,以公辦民營的合作模式,成為政府與民間合作推廣高齡教育的成功實例。創立近三十年來,見證台灣社會邁向高齡化的諸多變遷,因此其創辦的歷史背景與發展過程特別值得探討。本研究首先介紹高雄市長青學苑的創辦背景與特色,再以文件分析法,探討該學苑歷年的招生簡章、苑務會議記錄等歷史文獻,並分析其組織架構與運作模式、教師資格與素質、招生與課程、軟硬體設施、活動與競賽等發展面向。最後依分析結果,提出對台灣地區高齡教育現況的詮釋,以及高齡教育機構未來發展與經營的建議。 |
英文摘要 |
Distinguished as the first well-planned and well-organized elder education institute in Taiwan, the Elder College of Kaohsiung City has demonstrated successful collaboration between the government and private organization. For nearly three decades since its establishment, the Elder College has witnessed Taiwan's progress towards an aging society. The study first discusses the historical origin of the Elder College, then based on documentary analysis, it probes into the admission brochures and board meeting minutes of the Elder College, and analyzes its organizational structure and operation model, faculty qualification and recruitment, enrollment and curricula, facilities and software, activities and contests. At the end, the study tries to interpret the current situation of Taiwan's elder education by means of the foregoing analyses, and offers comments and suggestions for its future development. |
