In order to secure and enhance the cargo competitiveness in the fierce air cargo market, airports need to understand the demands from customers and develop corresponding operation strategies to enhance the air cargo efficiency. In this paper, based on the real cargo volume data from 2006 to 2013, the air cargo efficiency of 13 East Asian airports which are ranked in the top 30 of the world in terms of cargo volume is analyzed, at first. Then, the tendency of efficiency change is also shown by using the data envelopment analysis (DEA) window. By utilizing the Tobit regression model with the result of quantitative analysis, the critical factors which have great impacts on the air cargo efficiency have been disclosed. In addition, the impacts which these factors have on the air cargo volume are also analyzed based on the variance degree of two dependent variables: air cargo efficiency and air cargo volume. The results indicated that the criterion "air cargo carrier" is the most important one, and has great impact on both air cargo efficiency and air cargo volume.

英文摘要

為了確保及加強於航空貨物運輸市場之競爭力,機場必須了解顧客之需求並發展因應之營運策略以強化航空貨物運輸效率。本文研究對象為東亞排名前30大之13個主要國際機場,首先收集此13個主要機場2006年至2013年實際貨物量作為分析之數據。其次,利用資料包絡分析視窗法分析機場貨運效率變化趨勢。緊接著利用Tobit迴歸模式分析發現影響航空貨物運輸效率之重要因素,除此之外,本文亦基於航空貨物運輸量及航空貨物運輸效率此二變數之變異程度加以分析這些重要因素對航空運輸貨物量之影響程度。研究結果發現,航空貨物運送人是最重要之影響因素,不僅對航空貨物運輸效率有重大影響,同時對航空貨物運輸量亦有重大影響。
