背景：鎝(V)-99m-DMSA爲一種新的腫瘤檢查用核醫造影劑，臨床上被用於偵測惡性腫瘤或某些發炎性疾病。本研究之目的在比較鎝(V)-99m-DMSA和鎵-67-檸檬酸鎵對於淋巴癌檢查的可用性。方法：12位未經治療的惡性淋巴癌病人（7位男性與5位女性，年齡24～78歲），其中3位爲何杰金氏淋巴瘤(Hodgkin's lymphoma)、8位爲非何杰金氏淋巴瘤(non-Hodgkin's lymphoma)，另一位則是MALToma。所有病人都先接受全身性鎝(V)-99m-DMSA腫瘤造影檢查，並於3～4天後再接受鎵-67-檸檬酸鎵腫瘤造影檢查。結果：所有病人的鎵-67-檸檬酸鎵腫瘤造影檢查結果都呈陽性，而鎝(V)-99m-DMSA腫瘤造影檢查卻未發現任何病灶。結論：雖然鎝(V)-99m-DMSA和鎵-67-檸檬酸鎵都可用於偵測某些惡性或發炎疾病，然而對於偵測淋巴癌而言，鎝(V)-99m-DMSA顯然沒有臨床可用性。

Background: Pentavalent(superscript 99m)Tc-dimercaptosuccinic acid((superscript 99m)Tc(V)-DMSA)is a new tumor imaging agent which has been used to image not only in various malignant tumors, but also in some inflammatory diseases, in competition with gallium-67 citrate((67)Ga). This study was undertaken to compare the clinical value of(superscript 99m)Tc(V)-DMSA and(67)Ga in lymphoma patients. Methods: Twelve patients(7 men and 5 women ranging in age from 24 to 87 years)with malignant lymphoma (3 Hodgkin's lymphoma,8 non-Hodgkin's lymphoma and one MALToma)without any treatment were included in this study. In all patients, a whole body(superscript 99m)Tc(V)-DMSA scan was obtained initially. Subsequently, comparative whole body(67)Ga scan was performed 3-4 days apart. Results:(67)Ga scan was positive in all lymphoma patients; however, no any lesion was detected by(superscript 99m)Tc(V)-DMSA scan. Conclusion:(superscript 99m)Tc(V)-DMSA scan is of no any clinical value for the detection of lymphoma, although it can detect some other malignant or inflammatory diseases when comparison with(67)Ga.
