運動管理課程的定位與爭議

本文的主要目的，是以探討北美國家運動管理學門課程的定位為主題，並且多方呈現學者專家之間爭議的論點，來探討運動管理課程的規劃趨勢。相較於其他體育學門課程，運動管理可說是一門新興的領域。短短三、四十年的蓬勃發展，北美地區已有將近200多所學校提供運動管理課程。本文針對了有關北美地區運動管理課程定位方向所爭議的論點做了一一的探討，並且也介紹體育運動產業在美國發展的規模。透過本文的剖析可清楚得知兩者之間確有相當密切的關係。最後，本文並建議在規劃運動管理課程時所應注意的事項。
