本文旨在闡述近年來美、歐先進國家學者於體育運動教學相關研究文獻中攸關「教學原理」、「教學研究變項」之主流觀點暨其「教學研究途徑」，尤其聚焦於近四分之一世紀以來較盛行的「系統觀察與描述分析」研究法，並摘述其較常被引用之描述分析系統，俾供有興趣進行體育運動教學相關研究者之參考。
