生物動作(biological motion)概念的提出,不但增加人類對運動與知覺間的了解,更提供檢驗運動所產生訊息之工具。從動態光點的呈現,可正確辨識動作者的性別的序列研究中,支持生態心理學中有關結構訊息的恆定性與轉換訊息的恆定性可以穩定的在環境中傳導的理論,而個體在應用這類視覺知覺訊息的不同敏感程度,也反應在競技運動的觀察上。本文就生物動作的概念來源、技術演進、及探討以動態光點檢驗視覺訊息的諸多實驗,提出生物動作與運動之關連,並就未來可以動態光點進行運動教學與運動專業檢驗的可能性提出建議。
