長期的身體不活動是導致身體機能亮起紅燈的要素之一,尤其與心血管疾病的罹患有著相當密切的關連性。近來的研究證據顯示體內的癌症反應是促成血管病變的主要關鍵,且C反應蛋白是一相當具有代表性的檢測指標,因此本文整理過去有關身體活動與C反應蛋白的文獻來進行探討,從多數大樣本的調查中發現C反應蛋白濃度會隨著身體活動量的增加而減低,並在健康族群、心血管疾病患者以及代謝症候群族群中都能發現相似的結果;此外,本文認爲身體活動或運動可能透過脂肪組織量、抗氧化能力、介白素10與脂聯素的變動來影響C反應蛋白的升降,不過這些機制在未來仍需更多不同的研究設計來加以釐清。
