早期的研究指出,音樂介入能增進運動員的表現,因此,在比賽和訓練中音樂的利用就顯得非常重要。目前雖有許多音樂介入對運動表現影響的研究,但至今依然無法明確指出音樂對人類心生理機制的影響(Eliakim, Meckel, Nemet, & Eliakim, 2007)。爲確實瞭解音樂介入對運動表現的影響,本文主要目的是從腦α波假說、疼痛閘門控制理論與訊息處理理論三個方向來說明音樂對運動表現影響的機制,並期望能將音樂對運動的影響做更進一步的釐清。
