兒童是國家未來的棟樑,由於目前少子化現象和國民教育水準的提高,如何及早增強孩童在認知上的表現對於父母而言是相當重要的課題。就人類的發展而言,兒童時期爲快速發展之階段,而影響兒童認知發展的因素眾多,身體活動可能是影響因素之一。近年來,部份學者將研究重心放在身體活動對孩童大腦神經認知發展的影響,並有初步的發現。因此,本文主要藉由說明兒童大腦神經認知功能之發展、回顧身體活動與兒童大腦神經認知功能關係的研究,來論證身體活動具有促進兒童大腦神經認知功能的效用,最後,提出目前在相關研究不足之處,以及未來具體研究方向,以供未來研究之參考。
