在現今競爭激烈的職業網壇,先進國家相當重視青少年網球選手的規劃與發展。具體應用之策略是利用運動科學原理、儀器與測量方法,從體能、心理、技術等層面評估選手的潛能與未來發展,並依據選手各項檢測數據擬定合理且有效的專項訓練計畫。因此,本文將從:(一)體能檢測的重要性與目的,(二)美國網協體能檢測內容,(三)美國網協體能檢測方法於臺灣之應用等三個層面來探討,希望讓教練、選手瞭解體能評估對網球選手發展的重要性,期能提升運動表現、減少傷害並儘可能延長運動員的職業生涯。

英文摘要

Advanced countries attached considerable importance to the planning and development of junior tennis players in today's highly competitive professional tennis. Strategy of specific applications was to use the principles of sport science, instrumentation and measurement methods to assess the potential of the players and the future by measuring player's physical, mental, technical, and so forth. Specific and effective training programs can then be designed based on the player's fitness testing results. Three topics including: (1) importance and goals of physical fitness testing, (2) USTA fitness testing protocol, (3) application of USTA fitness testing program in Taiwan. Through these topics, we hope to provide coaches and players a better understanding the importance of physical fitness assessment of the development of tennis players. The goals are to enhance a player's performance, reduce the risk of injury and let the athlete's playing career can be as long as possible.
