根據流行病學調查,在美國每年約有25,000 名專業或業餘運動員,因踝關節扭傷而無法上場比賽,除此之外,側踝關節扭傷又為運動中最常出現的傷害之一。多數運動員在傷後並未接受完整的復健療程,導致踝關節扭傷復發率高達70%,而有75% 的踝關節不穩定因素來自於韌帶結構受損,後續更可能造成慢性踝關節不穩定。因此,本文希望從運動生物力學、神經肌肉控制與臨床診斷的角度,探討外側踝關節扭傷後對其運動表現的影響為何,並提供運動員或教練員對於踝關節不穩定族群臨床診斷上的參考。

英文摘要

According to the epidemiology investigations, there were almost 25,000 professional or amateur athletes unable to return to the competition due to ankle sprains in the United States. Nevertheless, lateral ankle sprain (LAS) was one of the most common sports-related injuries. Most athletes did not receive proper treatment or complete rehabilitation after ankle injuries. That resulted in LAS have a recurrence injury rate up to 70%. And there were 75% of the ankle instability caused from impaired ligamentous structure. Individuals who have suffered a LAS would eventually develop into chronic ankle instability. Therefore, the purpose of this study was to discuss the lingering effects after LAS form perspectives of biomechanics, neuromuscular control, and clinical diagnosis. Through these discussions could help athletes and coaches to understand better about the chronic ankle instability and to execute more effective recurrence preventions.
