宋代王安石推動以經義為科考命題的政策,士子行文的焦點因而有所轉變,教導科考文章寫作的論述也因應而生。這些著作是以前賢對文學的論述為基礎,將之歸納、轉化到科舉文章寫作的方法。綜合了前人的詩文論點,對闡釋經義的文章書寫提出建議。這些「策議論辯」作法的分析,目的在使學子以文章博得青睞,獲取功名。其相關寫作論點在今日作文的教與學,仍具有參考價值;各項公職考試文章的寫作,仍保持這樣的精神。本文以影響最大的《古文關鍵》一書為中心,整理出其中的作品論、作家論、作法論、風格論等,以見其衡文準則及寫作的意見。其後以十九項文字病為核心,列出論述淵源及承前啟後的發展,也指出未言及的疵病。分析這種以應考為規範的行文思想,有何優缺點。 |
英文摘要 |
Wang An-shih of Song Dynasty advocated classics as the topic of the Imperial Examination. The style of examination compositions was therefore changed and theories which offered guidance relevant to examination compositions were also published. These theories summarized previous works on literatures, and included them in the styles of examination compositions. In addition, these theories synthesized predecessors' opinions towards poems and compositions and provided advices to compositions about classics explanations. The purpose of analyzing these methods of the compositions and argumentations was to help examinees successfully winning the favors of judges and gain fame and fortune. These theories are still influential in today's composition education and learning. The writing style of today's public service examinations still remains the same. Based on the most influential work: Gu Wen Guan Jian, this paper summarizes the discussions about works, authors, methods and styles to show its attitude towards judging principles and compositions. Moreover, this paper focuses on the 19 defections of compositions, lists their origins and developments as well as the unmentioned flaws. In addition, both the advantages and disadvantages of this examination-oriented composition style are also analyzed. |
