過去有關地方感與環境行為或態度的研究大多以自然環境保護區為主，對於文化資產保護區的研究仍相當有限，因此本研究即是以具考古遺址的卑南遺址公園及其周邊在地居民為研究場域與對象。本研究主要探討：一、居民對卑南遺址公園的地方意義；二、不同背景居民的地方意義與地方依附之差異；以及三、地方意義、地方依附和環境行為意願之間的關係。研究設計採混合方法，先以質性訪談收集居民的地方意義內涵，接著發展量化問卷檢驗各變項間的關係。研究經分層抽樣共計回收有效問卷數325份，結果顯示：一、居民對卑南遺址公園的地方意義有促進健康、深刻回憶、部落文化與考古遺址等四個面向。二、在居民背景變項部分，參與過園區活動的居民在所有面向的地方意義與地方依附都有顯著較高的認同度。三、促進健康、深刻回憶與部落文化面向的地方意義對地方依附有顯著的預測效果，考古遺址與深刻回憶面向的地方意義及地方依附則對於環境行為意願有顯著預測效果。最後根據本研究的結果，作者針對地方感未來研究與園區管理單位提出實務建議。

Most existing research focusing on the sense of place, environmental attitudes or environmental behaviors were conducted at natural reserves. However, there is a lack of research conducted at cultural heritage sites. Therefore, the target population for this study was chosen to be the residents living near archaeological Peinan Site Park, which is a cultural heritage site. The main purposes of this study were to determine (1) the residents' place meaning to Peinan Site Park, (2) the difference of place meaning and place attachment between different background variables, and (3) the relationships between place meaning, place attachment, and pro-environmental behavior intention. This research used mixed methods design combining both qualitative and quantitative approaches. In this study, place meaning was first constructed by resident interviews. Then, a questionnaire was developed to examine the relationships among different variables. This study used stratified sampling method and received 325 valid questionnaires. Results from collected data produced four themes: health promotion, impressive memory, tribal culture, and archaeological site. Participants who had previously joined the activities held by Peinan Site Park had significantly stronger place meaning and place attachment than participants who had not previously joined the activities. Health promotion, impressive memory, and tribal culture in place meaning had significant effects on place attachment. Archaeological site and impressive memory in place meaning and place attachment had significant effects on pro-environmental behavior intention. Finally, implications for future research are presented.
