為要協助新進實、見習醫師能順利地進入臨床工作,台北榮民總醫院於2001年開始,在實、見習醫師進入臨床訓練前安排「新進實習醫師臨床技術訓練班」。這項訓練課程每年都會依據學員及教師意見調整和改良,並為配合陽明大學醫學系課程改革及「畢業前一般醫學訓練計畫」而將於2006年起延長為兩週。本課程開辦之初雖因埸地不足而顯得克難,但因大部分老師們的用心投入,加上學員們提供正面積極的意見,使課程的軟硬體逐步地改善而令本課程保持頗高的滿意度。未來的發展包括:(1)提昇教學品質;(2)擴充教學器材;(3)擴展訓練對象;(4)發展基本臨床技能認證制度。我們將繼續抱持著以學習者為中心的原則及將不斷改進列為課程的要項來繼續舉辦這項訓練課程,讓學員在進入臨床實習訓練時有最充分的準備。

英文摘要

A series of clinical-skills workshops has been conducted at the Taipei Veterans General Hospital since 2001, the workshops being intended for medical students entering their internship. The involved training program continues for a total of six working days, with the format typically being kept the same each time the course is offered, although it has been upgraded and enriched year by year in response to the feedback provided by both trainees and trainers. In the coming year, the new curriculum for the Faculty of Medicine, at the National Yang-Ming University and the project entitled ”General Medicine Education for Undergraduate Medical Students” has heralded the need for the extension of the training period for the entire clinical-skills program to expand to a total of two weeks. The forthcoming plans for this workshop include: (1) improving the quality of the training provided, (2) diversifying the range of tools employed for clinical-skills training, (3) enrolling a greater number of trainees from different academic disciplines, and (4) developing/improving an effective accreditation/assessment system for trainees. In principle, this training workshop should reflect the functional principles of our clinical-skills resource center, which emphasize that this training programs should always be learner-centered and should be continuously upgraded.
