Because of the tremendous improvements around the world, innovation in medical education is not a new topic. However, it is one of the main components of progress in society. More and more medical schools in Europe and America have continued to reform their medical education and have tried to gather evidence to assess and prove the effectiveness of reformed teaching and learning programs. It is important to consider the role of advertising innovation in medical education with regard to social science and its development.Modern medical education addresses the integration of teaching theories, principles, methods and tools across various academic fields such as case studies, learning styles, group discussion, sharing and reflection, planning, managing, process and value, outcome logical model, and performance-based assessment.Through reporting the workshop, the thoughts and experiences of medical education in the Western world were reflected, integrated and absorbed by the attendants of the workshop, which will, hopefully, encourage the improvement and innovation in related issues in Taiwan.
