The primary responsibilities of a physician are treating patients, as well as participating in medical professional organizations and programs for physician cultivation. This article discusses the limitations of fundamental and clinical medical courses, learning strategies and innovative instructional methods adopted in medical education, and the pros and cons of assessment tools for the learning outcomes of medical students.
