值此國際環保趨勢漸盛且國內政府積極從事輔導綠色科技之際,產業之環保技術創新發展議題需積極探究。本研究初始經由文獻探討,支持企業從事環保技術創新將能提高競爭力之論點,然而亦認為實務上應存在影響企業從事此種技術創新活動之激勵因子與障礙因子。因此本研究透過文獻探討與資料蒐集及結構與非結構之問卷調查與深度訪談,以整體性環保技術創新需求較高的台灣紡織化學產業為研究標的,整理歸納出上述之重要影響因子,以作為未來企業在制訂相關環保策略上之決策依據。主要研究結果如下:台灣紡織化學企業從事環保技術創新之意願激勵因子中,經過問卷調查分析後,其中「遵守相關環保規章」、「增加市場佔有率」、「降低環境傷害」、「增進產品多樣性」得較高之總分。而經過交叉比對後,受訪者回答認同度與一致性均較佳者為「遵守相關環保規章」、「增加市場佔有率」、「增進產品多樣性」及「改善產品品質」。障礙因子中經過問卷調查分析後,其中「高成本」、「缺乏財源」、「排擠效果」、「刻意忽視」得較高之總分。而經過交叉比對後,受訪者回答認同度與一致性均較佳者為「高成本」、「排擠效果」、及「缺乏市場資訊」。在深度訪談方面,受訪者對於環保技術創新可提升企業競爭力,都持正面肯定之態度。另一方面,多數受訪者並提出兩項原問卷調查未提出的障礙因子,即「公司規模」與「技術專利授權」問題。

英文摘要

While the environmental concern represents a significant international emphasis, Taiwan's government has made efforts in promoting and developing green technology among industries. In view of this, this paper is aimed at exploring the issue of ”technology innovation due to environmental concern”, with special reference to the positive as well as negative incentives of its development. Drawing on the data collected from several Taiwan's textile and chemical industries who have at different levels developed environmental-concerned technology innovation for a long time, this research is conducted through questionnaire survey and depth interview followed by statistical analyses. Some vital implicational outcomes are derived and they are hoped to be helpful to relevant policy applications of environmental-concerned technology at corporate level or government level. The research result shows that the driving forces of developing environmental-concerned technology innovation with Taiwan's textile and chemical industries mainly refer to ”comply with regulation”, ”increase market share”, ”lower environmental damage”, and ”increase product variety”, but the respondents have more coherent agreement on the answers of ”comply with regulation”, ”increase market share”, ”increase production efficiency”, and ”improve product quality”. On the other hand, the barriers to developing environmental-concerned technology innovation with Taiwan's textile and chemical industries chiefly include: ”high cost”, ”lack of financing”, ”delayed”, and ”not started”, but the respondents have more consistent agreement on the answers of ”high cost”, ”delayed”, and ”lack of technology information”. Finally, the depth interview result shows that the positive relation between environmental-concerned technology innovation and business competitiveness is largely confirmed, and that the issues of ”small size of company” and ”technology patent” also account for another two critical barriers to innovation for practical concern.
