Recently, there are more and more countries are using simulators for high-risk training lessons in order to replace on broad training. For instance, tank simulator plays an important role in the training session for the driver and the shooter. 200 sets of tabletop armored trainers are built by the Non-Governmental Organization and had been distributed around Taiwan counties, which is commissioned by the Taiwan army. However, the original manufacturer had gone out of business, therefore, the commission had been transferred to logistic support engineering section and aeronautical systems research division, the tabletop armored trainer had become diminishing manufacturing sources due to it had been long-established. However, the main I/O circuit board of this simulator plays an important role in the I/O subsystem, which causes many difficulties during maintenance. Due to the poor reliability of the I/O circuit board, there had been many complaints from the users. The purpose of this article is applying the grey relational model from grey system theory to filter the circuit board which certain information had worn out from the outside. More than 7,500,000 in-market units had been analyzed, and the 6 specific terms is found from each of the units. After confirming the standard value, functional circuit boards can be efficiently classified by comparing and analyzing by applying grey relational model. Therefore, with the classified circuit board, it not only the back-calculation and the preliminary screening can be more accurate and efficient, but also can provide the future reverse engineering a more accurate screening method.
