本研究旨在探討飼糧添加高粱雲芝發酵物(sorghum distillery residue fermented with Trametes versicolor, SDR-T)對雄性台灣古早雞在熱緊迫下體溫、血液生化值及紅血球相之影響。於商用雞飼料中分別添加0%(對照組)與含1%之SDR-T,每處理組6隻雞,飼養一籠,2重複,共4籠,水與飼料採任食,經籠飼7日適應期後,即進行循環熱緊迫,熱緊迫試驗期5天,檢測緊迫前後體溫及血液生化值。結果顯示雄性台灣古早雞在循環熱緊迫前與後直腸溫度二處理組之間無顯著差異,但在循環熱緊迫後1% SDR-T組雞隻其雞冠的溫度顯著高於對照組(P < 0.05),血漿鈉離子及氯離子濃度顯著較對照組者為低(P < 0.05);飼糧含1% SDR-T組雞隻血漿中尿酸濃度極顯著低於對照組(P < 0.01),且其在循環熱緊迫後也顯著低於對照組者(P < 0.05),血漿總蛋白與白蛋白濃度低於對照組,增加雄台灣古早雞血紅素濃度與紅血球數目(P < 0.05),降低平均紅血球容積(MCV)及升高鹼性磷酸酶活性(P < 0.05)。綜觀上述結果顯示,飼糧添加1% SDR-T具有促進雄台灣古早雞雞冠散熱、降低血漿尿酸濃度、提高血紅素含量及鹼性磷酸酶活性等作用,推測其具有發展為抗熱緊迫雞飼料添加物之潛力。

英文摘要

The purpose of this study was to explore the effects of dietary addition of sorghum distillery residue fermented with Trametes versicolor (SDR-T) on body temperature, blood biochemical values and erythrocyte profiles of male Taiwan ancient chickens under cyclic heat stress. Commercial chicken feeds containing 0% (control group) and 1% SDR-T were added, respectively. There were 6 chickens in each treatment group, and they were raised in one cage, with 2 repetitions, a total of 4 cages. Water and feed were freely available, and they were adapted to cage feeding for 7 days. After the period, cyclic heat stress was performed. The heat stress test period lasted for 5 days, and the body temperature and blood biochemical values before and after stress were measured. The results showed that there was no significant difference in the rectal temperature of male Taiwan ancient chickens before and after cyclic heat stress between the two treatment groups, but after cyclic heat stress, the comb temperature of the chickens in the 1% SDR-T group was significantly higher than that of the control group (P < 0.05), and the plasma sodium ion and chloride ion concentrations were significantly lower than those of the control group (P < 0.05). The plasma uric acid concentration of the chickens in the 1% SDR-T group was extremely significantly lower than that of the control group (P < 0.01), and it was also significantly lower than that of the control group after cyclic heat stress (P < 0.05). The plasma total protein and albumin concentrations of 1% SDR-T group were lower than those of the control group, and the hemoglobin concentration and red blood cell number of male Taiwanese ancient chickens increased (P < 0.05), and decreased mean corpuscular volume (MCV) and increased alkaline phosphatase activity (P < 0.05). From the above results show that adding 1% SDR-T to the diet can promote the heat dissipation of male Taiwan ancient chicken combs, reduce plasma uric acid concentration, and increase heme content and alkaline phosphatase activity. It is speculated that it has the potential to develop anti-heat stress chicken's feed additives
