多形性黃色星狀細胞瘤是少見而且低度的星狀細胞瘤。主要發生在小於30歲的年輕人，75%的病人中有癲癇的表現。不幸地常與其他腦瘤造成混淆。我們所提出的這個病例並沒有癲癇，這個20歲的女性只有頭痛二個月的病史，她右側腦瘤的最後診斷是多形性黃色星狀細胞瘤。本文回顧一些文獻來探討有關它的組織學、放射影像、鑑別診斷、惡性變化與追蹤。

Pleomorphic Xanthoastrocytoma (PXA), a rare low grade astrocytoma that mainly affects patients younger than 30, manifests itself as seizure in 75% of patients. Unfortunately, it is often confused with other neoplasms. We report one patient who presented without history of seizure. This 20-year-old female's only symptom was headache for 3 months. The final diagnosis of this right brain tumor was PXA. In this paper, we review the literature and discuss the histology, radiological images, differential diagnosis, malignant change and follow-up.
