外語學習者的閱讀者以成人居多,他們雖然比小孩擁有豐富的基模,但是語言能力的好壞差別卻很大。基於此,本研究在探討外語學習者的閱讀能力時,將日語能力及內容基模一起列入討論的對象。具體的研究方法爲,以通過日語能力檢定1級、2級、3級的合格者爲受試者,分別請他們閱讀和讀者背景知識較接近的有關台灣的文章,以及和台灣生活經驗較疏遠的有關泰國的文章。之後,分別進行常識題及閱讀測驗。結果發現,2級、3級的受試者能有效率地使用內容基模來補足日語能力不足的現象。但是,當欠缺適當的內容基模時,則有仰賴日語能力幫助閱讀的現象。另外,本研究基於研究結果爲日語閱讀教育給予建議。

英文摘要

The L2 adult readers are to be in the majority. They have much more content schema than children have, but their language proficiency is quite different. For this reason, this experimental study investigating the L2 comprehension will conclude the language proficiency and content schema to be discussed. For the research of the reading comprehension, there were samples coming out of the Japanese language learners in Level 1, Level 2, and Level 3 .They were separately asked to read the articles about topic familiarity (Taiwan) and non-topic familiarity (Thailand), and then to take the tests of comprehension and general knowledge .The result is that Level 2 and Level 3 use their content schema to compensate language deficiency effectively. But due to the lack of adequate content schema, they will rely on language ability to assist reading comprehension. Meanwhile, the instructional advices based on research findings will be mentioned.
