本研究的目的在探討中日兩語言間的語音類似程度是否會影響日語口語語詞之辨識速度。研究對象為台灣日語學習者,共實施兩個實驗。實驗一為語音促發之日語口語詞彙判斷作業,實驗中先後呈現中文語音及日語語音,並要求受試者判斷其中的日語語音是否為日語單字。實驗二為日語口語詞彙判斷作業,實驗中只呈現日語語音,要求受試者判斷該語音是否為日語單字。兩實驗的課題雖不同,但結果一致,簡述如下:(一)實驗組(日語漢字雙字詞)的反應時間比對照組(日語片假名語詞)的反應時間長,顯示了實驗組的日語單字辨識受到中文語音的干擾。(二)實驗組中,中日語音類似程度較高的單字受到中文語音干擾的程度較低。(三)比較早學的單字較不易受到中日語音類似性的干擾。由上述結果得知:在辨識日語漢字雙字詞的過程中,其漢字的中文語音表徵亦會被激化,影響日語漢字雙字詞的辨識速度。而其影響的程度則因日語單字的習得年齡及中日語音的類似程度而異。

英文摘要

The present study examined the influence of individuals' mother tongue on the spoken word recognition of the second language from the point of view of phonological similarities between Chinese and Japanese. Two experiments were conducted. One was a cross-linguistic auditory lexical decision task with priming paradigm and the other was a Japanese auditory lexical decision task. These two experiments indicated similar results, namely: (1) There action time for Kanji compound words was significantly longer than that for control words, which were in katakana. The recognition of Kanji compound words was hindered by Chinese language. (2) Intervention of Chinese became lower when the cross-linguistic phonological similarity was greater. (3) The reaction time for words acquired earlier was significantly shorter than that for words acquired later. These results indicated that the phonological similarities between Chinese and Japanese could inhibit the processing of Japanese Kanji compound words. The degree of this effect depends on the age of acquisition of the word and the degree of phonological similarity.
