In this paper, we sampled the students who study the required course, i.e., Japanese <I> in Wenzao Ursuline College of Languages for investigating the influence of the learning environment of schools on the learning motivation of the students. We made the students to fill a five-scale questionnaire for evaluating the impact of the factors including teachers, textbooks, learning equipments and toolkits, practice methods, evaluation and feedback, and classroom management on their learning motivation . Our investigation result shows these factors are important for increasing the learning motivation of the students. By contrast, the digital material is not more effective than the hardcopy material for improving their learning motivation. On the other hand, the result also shows that these factors are variously significant for different students of educational system, different gender, and learning experience.
