本文回顧當今港台流行的親職教育模式中所主張的親子溝通技巧,剖析在中國文化中運用這些技巧的問题。文中從感受察覺和情緒表達的角度探討了中國父母在運用「我」的訊息這項技巧時會遇到的問題;另外亦從中國父母的管教取向和中國兒童的個人/集體主義傾向分析「誘導教誨」是否適用於中國人社會中。實徵研究的重點在瞭解香港的兒童及少年在接收到父母的不同管教訊息時的情緒反應和行為傾向。樣本包括了五百二十七名香港的兒童和少年。資料蒐集方式是由受試者在聽畢錄音片段後在問卷上填寫答案。結果顯示,表達父母困擾的「我」的訊息最能引起受試者的正面反應,其次為誘導教誨的訊息。表達父母憤怒的訊息和批評子女的訊息均容易引起子女的敵對反應。這些資料為親職教育工作的本土化提供了實徵基礎。
