中國人的人際關係認知：一項多維度的研究

西方學者借助實證研究發現人們在對人際關係進行認知過程中是依據維度、因素或特性的基礎發展人際關係的分類理論。與西方人相比，中國人的行為受人際關係的影響更大，但學界很少從事實證研究探討中國人對人際關係的認知。本研究的目的主要在探討中國人對於自己與他人關係的認知特徵，以便找出中國人在與他人互動的過程中所關注的品質或特性。本研究包括預備研究與正式研究。在預備研究中，研究者通過訪問得到了三十七個人際關係，並初步瞭解中國受訪者在關係進行認知時所依據的標準。正式研究分為兩個階段。在第一階段，要求六十一名成年人獨自將上述三十七種關係根據其相似性分成不同的堆。將所有－人的分堆結果合併起來形成一個37×37的矩陣。此矩陣經ALSCAL處理後得到一個三維度的解。在研究的第二階段，六十名成年人對三十七種人際關係具有十六種特性的程度加以評定。將三十七種關係在上述三個維度上的坐標值作為因變項，受訪者在十六種特性上的評定作為自變項進行多元迴歸分析。根據多元迴歸的結果，將三個維度分別命名為關係的遠近、個人與關係夥伴交往時的自主性及個人對關係夥伴的依賴性。研究者結合前人的發現與理論對該結果進行了討論。
