近年來,國內課程研究的發展相當地快速蓬勃,但研究成果並不盡理想。鑑於此,本文特別透過回顧當代國內外課程研究的趨勢,及分析89~93學年度國科會補助課程研究計畫的成果,來檢討國內課程研究的議題選擇與方法論問題,希冀能提醒課程研究者慎選課程研究議題與方法,並且加強方法論的基礎、研究設計的嚴謹度、研究分析的深度,以提升研究成果報告的品質與價值。文中,作者針對相關方法論問題,除了提出批判性的檢討,亦積極提供相關建議作為改進課程研究之參考。

英文摘要

Although the number of research projects in curriculum studies is increasing rapidly, the results of the projects are not quite satisfactory. This paper examines the selection of research topics and methodological issues of curriculum studies in Taiwan through the review of contemporary curriculum trends and research projects funded by the National Science Council from 2000 to 2004. In order to increase the value of curriculum studies and to improve the quality of curriculum research reports, the author reminds researchers in curriculum field of the responsibility to choose research topics and methods, the need of being wary of methodological principles, and the importance of enhancing rigor in research design and depth data analysis. Besides having critical reflections on related methodological issues, the author also provides suggestions for the improvement of curriculum research.
