Physical education (PE), one of the students' favorite courses, is beneficial for students' health in physiology, mentality and society. However, physical education is usually considered as higher risk activities compared to other courses since this program is all about body actions. The strategies of physical risk management were divided into reservation, reduction, transference and avoidance, but most PE instructors seldom use insurance system to lower the risks brought through the classes. It is too late to feel regret when the real accident is happened and the consequent lawsuits with huge amount of compensation. Through interviewing with insurance companies and PE teachers, this research was aimed to analyze and reason why the Teacher Liability Insurance was unpopular in campus. The possibilities were due to lack of information, inadequate knowledge of insurance and lucky thoughts. This research was expected to help PE teachers have further understanding and attention on the importance of ”risk management.” Moreover, the risk management of physical education courses can be improved better.
