身體活動流行病學為現代行為流行病學中重要的研究主題之一，目前國內尚未有文章對於身體活動之研究階段與範疇提出具體的介紹，尤其國際間對於身體活動流行病學之研究，已廣泛應用行為流行病學架構進行實證性的身體活動介入，並為公部門相關政策的參考依據，但此概念之相關文獻多以英文為主，國內研究者對於此架構也較為陌生，據此，本研究目的為以文獻回顧法介紹身體活動之流行病學研究架構。此架構提供了身體活動之實證性研究的五個重要階段，第一階段為建立身體活動與健康的關係；第二階段為發展測量身體活動的工具；第三階段為找出影響身體活動的相關因素；第四階段為評量介入身體活動的改變成效；第五階段為將研究轉化為實務。期望透過身體活動流行病學之研究架構的介紹，讓國內相關研究者對於身體活動學術研究的階段與範疇能有進一步的認識，進而達到健康促進與疾病預防的目標。

Physical activity epidemiology is an important subdomain of modern epidemiology. In particular, physical activity epidemiology has been widely utilized for evidence-based interventions in the world. However, only a limited number of studies have involved the research stages and coverage of physical activities in Taiwan. Given that most of the relevant studies were written in English, this article aims to introduce the physical activity epidemiology framework through a literature review. This framework provides five phases for developing evidence-based physical activity intervention. These phases are: 1. establishing the links between physical activity and health; 2. developing measures of physical activity; 3. identifying factors that influence physical activities; 4. evaluating interventions to change physical activities; 5. translating research into practice. We hope this review will improve researchers' understanding of the physical activity epidemiology framework, which in turn will guide the implementation of policies designed to promote physical activities in Taiwan.
