本專案旨在降低加護中心鮑氏不動桿菌感染密度。經現況調查發現：本單位鮑氏不動桿菌院內感染密度，在2005年全年院內感染平均密度爲3.24%，2006年發生鮑氏不動桿菌群突發，故引發進行此專案之動機。現況分析顯示，加護中心鮑氏不動桿菌感染密度上升的因素有：護理人員對鮑氏不動桿菌之知識不足、未確實洗手、未使用病室專用聽診器，以及呼吸器管路積水未倒。經改善方案：一、實施護理人員在職教育及測驗；二、宣導及稽核確實執行洗手並增設酒精性乾洗手液；三、落實使用各床位聽診器；四、定時清除呼吸器管路積水。自2006年2月至2006年7月實施以上專案後，本單位鮑氏不動桿菌院內感染密度2006年3月1日至7月31日從6.21%。降爲平均0.97?，顯示本專案的具體成效。期望藉此專案能降低院內感染、維護病人安全及提升照護品質。

The purpose of this project was to reduce the infection density of Acinetobacter Bauniannii in an ICU. The average infection density of A. baumannii in our hospital was 3.24? in 2005 However it spiked up in 2006, which immediately called for this nursing project to investigate the causes and possible prevention methods for the outbreak. It has been identified that made quate hand washing, improper usage of bedside appropriative stethoscope, and ventilator circuits dropsy, are the main causes of A. baumannii Based on the finding, several procedures have been deployed to supress the disease. First, to teach and enforce proper hand-washing techniques on a regular schedule, alcohol hand disinfection to provide additional protection. Second, enforce the properuse of the bedside appropriative stethoscope, which must be labelled correctly, and finally, regular elimination of the ventilator circuits dropsy. Statistics has shown that the new procedures have achieved great impacts on the quality of ICU environment. Infection density of A. Baumannii was been decreased from 6.21? to avavage 0.97? from March 1 to July 31, 2006. Thus with this paper, we hope to help achieving a signifigant reduction in the infection density of nosocomial infections, preserving patient safety and improving the quality of nursing in any ICU which adopts similar strageties.
