根據調查台灣職工界於20~40歲年齡層中，每天工作超時，運動少，更有1/4的人出現高血壓現象，上班族健康頻出包，勞工健康指標影響家庭生活品質，也危及企業競爭力。因此，打造友善並且健康的職場，是當務之急」。臺安醫院是全球化組織基督復臨安息日會所屬的醫療機構之一，其全球本會復臨醫療院所分部於216個國家，約有173所醫院，306個診所及30多間新起點健康中心，齊心推動以新起點NEWSTART（N均衡營養、E適量運動、W乾淨飲水、S適度陽光、T凡事節制、A新鮮空氣、R充足休息、T信仰生活。）健康生活改良計劃，促進工作、家庭和生活的平衡，達到身、心、靈全人觀的自然健康預防醫學。本會臺安醫院本著Jesus Clinical Ideal耶穌醫治人的愛為精神，誠如本院黃暉庭院長在永續企業報導中所提及的：臺安聚焦深耕在「全人醫療的健康照護」、「全球關懷的社會公益」、「以人為本的幸福職場」及「低碳綠化的健康空間」的四大核心範疇，建構一個可以與所有利害相關人共創價值且利益平衡的共享、共生平台。

According to the survey, Taiwanese workers between age 20 to 40 work overtime every day, lack of any physical activities, a quarter of those between age 20 to 40 suffered from high blood pressure. The office workers often experience recurring health issues, and the overall health indicators of workers will affect the quality of life and can potentially have an adverse impact on corporation competitiveness. Establishing a healthy, friendly working environment remains a top priority for every corporation in Taiwan.＂ Taiwan Adventist Hospital (TAH) is one of the global medical organizations of the Seventh-Day Adventist Church. The Church operates medical facilities and hospitals in 216 countries, with approximately 173 hospitals, 306 medical clinics and over 30 NEWSTART health centers globally. The Church believes in reaching optimal health for each individual by establishing a balance lifestyle between work, and family and daily living. These organizations collectively promote a holistically oriented natural preventative medicine via the adoption of a NEWSTART (Nutrition, Exercise, Water, Sunshine, Temperance, Air, Rest, and Trust in God) lifestyle programmed for this sole purpose. As for the role TAH plays in this, its president Dr. Huiting Huang commented in the ＂Sustainable Enterprise＂: by following the spirit of Jesus' love to people through His clinical healing, TAH's main focus in achieving optimal health can be summarized into four core categories: ＂Holistic health oriented medical care＂, ＂social welfare through global care＂, ＂people oriented happy working environment＂, and ＂green and low carbon footprint healthy environment＂. Through these four categories, a platform established for all stakeholders in the society to share the benefits. At the same time balancing the interests of stakeholder can also benefit general public as a whole.
