本研究運用質性深度訪談方式,探索個體自我呈現背後之服飾穿著態度的概念本質、面向與其可能運行機制。質性訪談共有16名參與者,來自台灣北、中、南部三地區,資料分析結果發現本土穿著態度是由外在環境層面、人際層面與個人層面三部份所組成的意念,為一個具有社會性與個體性心理傾向的複合概念,當中看到不少華人心理機制的運作情形,如關係取向、面子、家庭影響等。本研究亦就穿著態度概念及各面向,發展出一個穿著態度三階層動態關係圖,說明個體穿著態度之場合、人際與個人三階層之動態關係。

英文摘要

The purpose of this study is to explore and delineate the nature of clothing attitude in the Taiwan context, as well as to construct a dynamic mechanism relevant to indigenous clothing attitude. Results from in-depth interviews with sixteen Taiwanese adults indicate that social psychological aspects of clothing attitude consists of the environmental, interpersonal, and intrapersonal domains. Further analyses provide evidences of a number of psychological constructions typical for the Chinese cultural context, such as relational orientation, maintaining face, and family influence. The three domains, as found in each subject's appearance management or self-presentation, are incorporated into a dynamic clothing attitude model. Suggestions for further research and study limitations are also discussed.
