張愛玲的劇作《太太萬歲》以陳思珍和唐志遠的婚姻關係及其家族間的互動為主軸。透過事後撰寫的〈《太太萬歲》題記〉，更凸顯角色皆是生活中經常出現的普通人。本文藉由張愛玲執筆的特殊性，從三個面向開展：一藉由〈《太太萬歲》題記〉對於電影的闡述為出發，討論電影中本該為年輕少婦的陳思珍，婚後受各種俗事的洗禮，迅速成為擁有中年人氣質，且容易令人感到不耐的家庭主婦，剖析張愛玲對於「婚姻」與「女性」的觀察；二是分析劇中男女主角對於「別針」的索求及贈與，展現的男女價值觀差異，與陳思珍不斷將就，不知不覺陷於哀樂中年的窘境；三是「婚姻」在張愛玲筆下，多成為女人氣質衰老的催化劑，但陳思珍卻因短暫的快樂與滿足，放棄離婚的機會，選擇維持千瘡百孔的失敗婚姻，其抉擇的動機，展現了女性受現實與理想交雜的影響。以此，延伸至《太太萬歲》對於當時普通人女性，面對婚姻狀況時，「出走」或「維持現狀」的抉擇，進而討論《太太萬歲》所呈現對於時代環境、女性價值的回應與反思。

The play "Long Live the Mistress" by Eileen Chang focuses on the marital relationships between Chen Sizhen and Tang Zhiyan, as well as the interactions among their families. Through the written transcript of "Long Live the Mistress ", that the characters are all ordinary people who often appear in daily life is emphasized. By the special characteristics of Eileen Chang, this paper highlights three aspects. Firstly, through the description of the movie "Long Live the Mistress," we discuss Chen Sizhen, who is supposed to be a young woman in the film. However, after her marriage, she is baptized by all kinds of mundane things and quickly becomes a middle-aged housewife who is easy to be impatient. Owing to this, Eileen Chang's observation of "marriage" and "women" will be analyzed. Secondly, we analyze the value discrepancy between men and women in the play via solicitation and presentation of "brooch". Moreover, discussing the dilemma of Chen Si-Zhen unconsciously making do and getting trapped in the sadness of middle age. Thirdly, in Eileen Chang's writings, marriage is often a catalyst for the aging of a woman's temperament. Nevertheless, owing to momentary happiness and fulfillment, Chen Si-Zhen gives up on divorce and chooses to maintain her failed marriage, which is full of difficulty. She is motivated by the influence that females accept the mixture between reality and ideal. For this reason, such situations are extended to "Long Live the Mistress" which demonstrates what decisions the females at that time will make when facing the options, to leave or to maintain status quo. Following the previous statement, discuss the responses and reflections of "Long Live the Mistress " on the contemporary environment and women's values.
