92年4月SARS疫情風暴來襲，由於其飛沬傳染的特性，導致許多民眾懼怕於暴露在公共場所中，不僅影響民眾的生活習慣，同時也對交通工具使用習慣產生相當大的衝擊，本文主要就交通局相關統計及調查資料進行分析，瞭解其衝擊程度以作為爾後因應之參考。

The sudden SARS storm in 2003 brought panic to all people in Taiwan. Because of fear, the passengers of bus and rapid transit system decreased. The carriages, which used to be crowded, became very spacious. Streets of Taipei City, which should be full of rhythmic tone, were quite down all of a sudden. Fortunately, under the deliberate anti-SARS measures, which the Taipei City Government team made every effort to proceed and our fellow citizens tried their best to accommodate, we spared no pains to go through the task. People revived gradually and Taipei City recovered its strength. This paper is focus on the impact on Taipei transportation system coming from the SARS.
